We noticed every time Ryan comes for a visit he is so busy playing with Emmett we never get enough photos of him on the blog, so we made it more formal. Thank you Ryan for entertaining Emmett and visiting us in Colorado. Please come back again real soon!

We went to the patch with friends for a play date. Emmett pouted the whole time because he wanted to ride the horse carriage. oh well. I might have to go again for more photos but here is what I got so far.

We went berry picking with the whole Magyar family. It was fun, a lot of work and a bit pricey, but YUM! Emmett ate about a whole basket of raspberries before we left the patch. He would tell us the berries were disappearing into his belly- magic! It was cute and saved us some money!

Wes, Ryan and E went to see THOMAS THE TANK ENGINE! Emmett was a little feverish this day but he couldn't miss seeing Thomas so the boys went to ride everyone's favorite blue engine. E had seen the commercials on PBS and he would tell me, "Mom, Thomas is coming to Colorado to see ME!" so naturally we could not deny our boy from a day out with Thomas even if he was sick, especially at $18.00 a ticket pre-paid.

We spent a beautiful day walking around the zoo on my birthday. I think I would have rather done something for me, BUT when the kids are happy so am I. So, we rode the carousel twice! We watched two brave people feed the hippo a cake. We had treats too. Kenzie is learning to self soothe by sucking her fingers and Emmett self soothes by eating ice cream. YUM.
