halloween fun

if you look closely you can see the real zebra behind the "e" zebra.

Emmett really wanted to be Emmett for Halloween, but once we explained you get candy if you dress up he was willing to be anything. We found a cute zebra costume and he was very happy...especially trick or treating at the zoo with grandma and grandpa magyar.

For my birthday we went camping in Estes Park, Rocky Mountain National Park. It was cold and noisy. The Elk were mating or sick and yelping all night quite close to our campground and at about 2 am, if you weren't awake from the Elk, Emmett was screaming for hot milk and his own crib. He did not want to be camping anymore, but he stuck it out till morning after Dad and Matthew made hot milk on the camping stove in the middle of the night.

Emmett has been very interested in the Little Einstein's from Disney. It is a very cute show that teaches kids about music, art and geography. He has the toy rocket with the Leo, Annie, June and Quincy figurines and our neighbors found this ride on Rocket at a garage sale and decided he needed it. Notice the rocket shirt too!
