Emmett and I are flying out today and there are so many photos I would have liked to post. These are just a few from Xmas eve. We went to Zoo lights (before the huge snowstorm) and we spent Xmas Eve at the Magyar's. Plus, there will be many more pics when I return from my Dad's in Virginia, So check back after the New Year for many more Holiday photos.

Much Love and Peace this Holiday Season to ALL!

blizzard 2006

If you haven't seen the news in the last 3 days... Denver is under 2 feet of snow! (and we are safe, warm and having fun!) Here are some photos from the storm....

A snow moustache
Yum!

loving the snow storm but, of course he doesn't have to shovel

this was when snow was still falling
(it is a snowflake not snot under his nose)

santa

My school has a winter festival every year, so we went and Emmett got to see Santa. He was not so sure he really wanted to sit with him, But the back up and drop him off technique worked long enough to get a few photos.
This is photoshopped...it is how we imagined the Santa visit to go.
But, He sat very nicely with Santa.

Peaches

Not too long ago, Emmett went to grandma and grandpa's while Daddy was at the dentist.

Here are some of the amazing photos Grandpa Steve took while Emmett devoured a peach.

first pair of converse high tops

shoving his little naked foot into the black converse shoe

Emmett loves shoes. In fact, we went to a shoe store recently and I told him to pick out some shoes off the shelf ;he ran over to the wall of shoes and sighed "WOW" He typically picks out girl shoes with all the flowers and extra glitter but he really loves shoes without discrimination. He has a pair of Chuck Taylors (converse) that fit him and he spent 20 minutes putting the laces throught the shoe lace holes and trying to get the shoes on. IN fact- He wouldn't get dressed until he had his shoes on. His fine motor skills are very impressive- He is able to lace his shoes at 16 months. He continues to impress us with his language and sign language skills. He loves hide and seek. He is really just so much FUN!

xmas tree

OH Christmas tree. Emmett loves the Tree! ( he says "hi" to the tree in the morning and "bye" before he goes to bed.) He also enjoys taking all of the sesame street ornaments off the bottom branches so he can have his little friends with him at all times. It is very sweet. He has learned to say cookie monster and grover recently. He is also better than I am about waiting to open the gifts under the tree- he luckily does not seem to understand that they are for him or that there is anything of interest under the wrapping paper. Next year will be interesting though.
